Hey there, Danny here from Five Random Questions. Season two is now wrapped and I'll be taking a short break as I plan out season three and line up new guests to sit in the random question hot seat.
Season two was another one for the ages and once again the guests brought everything: from talking about Ted Lasso's importance, what to do with an adopted elephant, the importance of having a mom around, why a washroom smell is better than body odour, what kind of potato it'd be best to be, and more. There truly was a hugely eclectic range of questions and answers for each guest and this is why I love this podcast so much.
It really does bring a huge dose of randomness into every episode with each one being different. Because of that, it really does make it a joy to record and I always look forward to recording day.
Season two also saw the show pick up some nice recognition as it was voted one of the five best independent podcasts of twenty twenty-four by Ear Worthy Media.
That was such a lovely surprise to see, and my thanks to the judges over at Ear Worthy for the recognition, as well as the work they do to showcase indie podcasters in general.
Podcasting can be a lonely and hard endeavour for indie podcasters since we generally do everything ourselves and don't have a production team or large budget behind us. So when media companies like Ear Worthy recognize that, it's a really nice thing to see.
And that brings me to you, the listeners, who have taken Five Random Questions to your heart and turn up each episode to be entertained.
Your continued support, feedback and more means the world to me and I'm super grateful you enjoy the show so much and are part of the Five Random Questions community. Season three will be launching on the first of May and there are already some great guests lined up.
Now there will be a slight change in season three where I change the episodes up to bi-weekly.
This is purely from a scheduling viewpoint as sometimes it can be difficult to line up recording days with guests because of different locations, time zones, etc. Bi-weekly just makes this easier to manage. It'll still be the same great fun, just a tiny little bit further apart.
Thanks again for helping Five Random Questions be the podcast it is.
It's really fun to make and it's always super fun to see what you think of the guests and their answers, and I'm looking forward to bringing you more of the same when season three drops at the beginning of May. Until then, keep asking those questions.
